The Dynamic Sort component can be displayed on the canvas as an icon or hidden object, both allowing an end user to toggle between ascending and descending order. The sort component's logic evaluates a data range that is sorted by one or multiple columns. The sort columns and sort order can be identified as a static or dynamic values that can change during runtime. This combination of a dynamic sort by column with triggering behaviors provides a wide range of configurations for dashboard designers to fulfill any sorting requirements.

Sort Type- Source data that is sorted based as a vertical table, based on Dynamic Sort properties.

Sort Option- Choose between sorting the Source Data in place or inserting the sorted data into a Destination Range.

Destination- The destination range where sorted data is inserted. Destination range is only enabled when the Sort Option is set to “Sort to Destination Range.”

Sort by Column(s)- Sort one or multiple columns of data using numeric values to identify column indexes. When a Sort by Column changes, the data source will re-sort based on the column number(s).

Sort by Column- Column Sort Type(s)- Toggle between ascending and descending order for each Sort Column dynamically. The following values must be inserted into a Column Sort Type cell:
0 or “ascending”
1 or “descending”
